When it concerns abuse, anyone can call the Helpline for Children ... anytime, day or night. Simply dial "310-1234 (no area code needed)". Anyone can call. Children A child who is being abused at home, at school, in the play ground - anywhere - can call for help. Parents Parents who are afraid they might hurt their child can call for help. Community Members If you know a family where a child is being abused, call the Helpline. You can call anonymously. You Are Responsible If you are aware of a possible case of child abuse, you are required by provincial law to contact the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Your immediate action can prevent further child abuse and help the family. As long as your report is made in good faith, you are not liable for any loss or damage. Your call can help stop child abuse.
